During the discussion on easing restrictions, Minister of Education Rabbi Rafi Peretz presented data on gaps in the field of distance learning equipment for disadvantaged populations.
Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to the request and ordered the immediate transfer of NIS 50 million for the purchase of computers for underprivileged population groups.
As per the order, approximately 30,000 computers will be provided to families in need, with special emphasis on the haredi and Arab sectors. Education Minister Peretz said "We are correcting an injustice. Distance learning will reach everyone..."
