Harav Gross, the head of the Gur chassidic community in Ashdod, has ruled that due to the difficulty in keeping children happy and occupied at home while the schools are shut, it is permissible to listen to music until the beginning of the month of Iyar (next Friday) although this would usually be prohibited in the period of Sefirat Ha'Omer (the weeks between Passover and Shavuot).
