MK Uri Maklev (UTJ) has questioned why Health Ministry guidelines permit people to gather (while remaining two meters apart from one another) in order to stage demonstrations, but similar gatherings for the purpose of communal prayer as required by Jewish law are outlawed.
A petition has already been made to the Supreme Court on this matter; the Court has yet to give its reply.
