Following the intervention of Jerusalem mayor Moshe Leon, the Clalit Health Fund has opened three additional clinics where coronavirus testing will take place, in East Jerusalem.
The clinics will be located in Kfar Ekev, Silwan, and Shuafat.
Until now, three clinics served the residents of East Jerusalem, operated by three different health funds.
In addition, a drive-thru testing center has opened in the Jabal Mukaber neighborhood. The government is also transferring medical equipment to hospitals located in the east of the city.
