MK Moshe Yaalon (Yesh Atid-Telem) attacked Benny Gantz, head of the Blue & White party, for his ongoing attempts to form a unity government with Likud.
"The President refrained from handing the mandate to form a government to a man with three separate indictments hanging over him," he wrote on Twitter. "This man, Netanyahu, is rightly concerned that the Supreme Court will prohibit him from [serving as prime minister] - and who is helping Netanyahu to bypass the President and the Supreme Court? None other than Benny Gantz, who was voted into the Knesset on an anti-corruption slate, promising that he would root out corruption from politics and defend the rule of law. Even the current epidemic can't conceal the shame and the abuse of trust."
