The Cabinet on Monday night unanimously approved the lockdown announced by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu earlier in the evening.
The new regulations include a prohibition on moving between localities in addition to the current restrictions. They will be in effect from Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. until Thursday at 5:00 a.m.
