"I am deeply saddened by the passing of Rishon Lezion, former Chief Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron of blessed and righteous memory. The loss of a giant of Torah and kindness is sad. My sincere condolences to the distinguished family and students," said Katz.
