MK Gadi Yevarkan (Likud) has weighed in on the coronavirus debate and the decision of the Finance Ministry to cancel the income threshold of one spouse of a married couple for the purposes of deciding eligibility for a government grant to the self-employed.
"I welcome the news of this decision," he said, "and I congratulate the Finance Ministry for changing its decision. This is the least we could do for the self-employed who shoulder the burden of the majority of economy activity in the country."
