Dr. Erez Birnboim, the director of Assuta hospital in Ashdod, has appealed to the public not to refrain from seeking necessary treatment in hospital out of fear that they might contract the coronavirus while within the hospital walls.
In conversation with Arutz Sheva he added that the program to collect plasma from the blood of those who have recovered from coronavirus is ongoing, and expressed his hope that this would lead to a breakthrough in treatment for the virus.
