The Edmund de Rothschild Foundation has donated NIS 15 million to Hebrew University to support the University's research iinto the coronavirus.
Professor Asher Cohen, President of Hebrew University, said: "Many of the ideas developed in Hebrew University are already being implemented in the area of research into finding a cure for this disease."
Mickey Kliger, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Edmund de Rothschild Foundation noted: "We are doing all we can in order to help the State of Israel and its residents get through the crisis and emerge from it stronger."
