There has been a substantial improvement in the condition of Afik Suissa, a 22-year-old from Ashdod who contracted coronavirus and is hospitalized in Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
Afik has regained consciousness and is now responsive, although he is still being supported by a heart-lung machine. "We hope that he will continue to improve, and we are doing everything we can to support this process," said Dr. Adi Nimrod, director of the ICU at Ichilov.
