Druze colonel chosen to light IDF torch at Independence Day ceremony

Sheikh Mowafak Tarif, the spiritual leader of Israel's Druze community, has congratulated fellow Druze Col. Hisham Ibrahim for being chosen to light a torch on behalf of the IDF during Israel’s 72nd Independence Day ceremony, saying that this is an honor for the IDF and for Israel's Druze community.
