Police reported that units respond to a shooting incident that took place in the Umm al-Fahm area in the north of the country today in which a 24-year-old man was shot and critically injured while was sitting in his vehicle.
He was taken to hospital for medical treatment and succumbed to wounds sustained in the shooting.
Police continue to search the area for suspects who fled the scene. The background to the incident has been reported as is criminal in nature.
