Over 905,000 new unemployment claims since crisis began

The Employment Service reported today that 905,818 individuals - 88.9% of whom are on unpaid leave - have filed for unemployment since the beginning of March.

The unemployment rate in Israel is at 25.1%. Prior to the crisis, only 4% were unemployed.
