MK Barkat: 'Appalled at the hatred and incitement'

MK Nir Barkat (Likud) has condemned the incitement against the haredi community.

"I see the incitement and the hatred against the haredi sector and I'm appalled," he said. "We have to stop all these generalizations and accusations. We must not place our brothers in the firing line.

"Throughout our history, the secret of our survival was always unity and mutual responsibility," he added. "In a time of crisis such as we are in now, we have to harness the power of unity, and not stoop to the level of those who seek to divide us."
