New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has said that the main factor in dealing with the coronavirus epidemic is the number of ventilators available, along with the staff to operate them.
A report in The Guardian quoted Cuomo as saying: "We have the beds, it’s the ventilators and then it’s the staff. That’s the problem.”
The report added that Cuomo called for enhanced testing, and said that the state is "working on aggressively" using hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for coronavirus.
