More than 130 medical personnel from Shaarei Zedek Medical Center who are currently in isolation are to receive gift packages in advance of the Pesach [Passover] holiday, in a project arranged by Shaarei Zedek with the cooperation of the Jerusalem Fund.
"Right before the festival of Pesach, we are sending those of you who are in isolation a small gift in order to let you know that you are in our hearts and minds," reads the letter from the Director of Shaarei Zedek, Professor Ofer Marin, and the President of the Jerusalem Fund, Shai Doron, that is enclosed with the package.
"Each and every one of you is a shining example of dedication in treating patients, and we want to tell you 'thank you' and give you our encouragement. We know that every one of you is longing to return to work and caring for patients, and we are certain that you will indeed be able to return soon, with renewed energy. The Jerusalem Fund, which works for the residents of the city all year round, has decided to join with Shaarei Zedek Medical Center in order to make your period of isolation easier to bear."
