MK Liberman: 38% of all haredim infected - curfew them all

MK Avigdor Liberman, head of the Yisrael Beytenu party, argues that the coronavirus figures presented by the Health Ministry are incorrect.

Basing his argument on a comment made by the head of one of the health funds in Bnei Brak, who said "I estimate that around 38% of the population here has already contracted the virus," Liberman claims that the figure of 8,018 confirmed virus infections in the country is far below the actual numbers. He also makes the assumption that the 38% figure is true of other haredi areas as well, such as Elad, Ramat Beit Shemesh, Modi'in Illit, and the Mea She'arim neighborhood in Jerusalem.

He then reaches the conclusion that the government should impose a strict lockdown on all these areas, and opines that the only reason the government is not doing so is "political."
