The Employment Service reported that the unemployment rate in Israel continues to rise, with 1,017,468 - 24.4% of the workforce currently out of work.
During the past 24 hours, 19,203 have filed for unemployment benefits, compared to 32,137 yesterday, 23,978 on Monday and 23,946 on Sunday.
