Iran: Over 44,000 COVID-19 infections, over 3,000 in past day

A spokesman for Iran's health ministry reports that over 44,000 COVID-19 virus infections have been diagnosed in the country so far, more than 3,000 in the past day.

So far, 2,898 people have died from the disease in the country.
