In an interview with Channel Kan 11, El Al Chairman Eli Defes has said that his company could collapse within weeks if the government does not come to its aid.
"The Treasury has not responded to the plans which we presented to it. If they don't come up with a solution, the company could cease to exist within just a few weeks. The State has an obligation at this time of crisis to come to the aid of its official airline," Defes said.
