Israir Airline Chief Executive Uri Sirkis visited the Foreign Office this morning and received data from Israel's overseas department manager Sima Duberbani about Israelis seeking to return from Europe.
The Foreign Ministry noted that from the moment the crisis began, Israir has worked in full coordination with the Foreign Ministry and, following requests from the Foreign Ministry, makes flights to various destinations around the globe to return Israelis.
This week, the company is expected to hold flights to Kishnev and Berlin (combined flight), Tbilisi, Belgrade and Frankfurt (combined) and flights to Vienna.
Israir is Israel's third-largest airline after El Al and Arkia Israel Airlines, employing some 350 staff.
