As of the beginning of March, there were 764,165 jobseekers in the Employment Service, 90% of whom were on unpaid leave. The total number of active job seekers in Israel is close to one million and stands at 922,016 this morning.
In addition, the unemployment rate continues to climb, an stands at 22.15% as of today.
