A nurse working in the operating theater at Beilinson hospital, Petah Tikva, has tested positive for coronavirus.
She had been on sick leave and then returned to work when she felt better - before realizing that she had contracted the virus.
21 staff members from the surgical ward have now been ordered into home quarantine until next Tuesday.
