The White House, along with Republican and Democratic senators, reached an agreement on a $ 2 trillion aid package to support and rehabilitate businesses and services in the U.S. health system that were severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The plan is still expected to be approved and finalized before it is implemented.
