'Doctors have been begging for help, but no one listened.'

Professor Yehuda Adler M.D. was not surprised by the comptroller's new report on the nation's lack of preparedness for the coronavirus outbreak. "For four years doctors have been begging for help, but no one listened," Adler lamented.

Adler serves as Dean of Health Administration of the Academic Center in Ramat Gan and applauded the petition presented to the director general of the Health Ministry which was signed by the department heads of Israel's hospitals asking for immediate assistance to combat COVID-19.
