The Employment Service announced that the number of new job seekers in Israel has exceeded 600,000 and stands at 615,834.
Most of the new subscribers to the service have gone on unpaid leave.
As a result, the unemployment rate rose to 18.6%. Before the Corona crisis, the unemployment rate was 4%.
