In Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem, concerns have been raised that a doctor working in the bone marrow transplant department has been infected with coronavirus and came into contact with people with compromised immune systems.

In Kan news, it was reported that doctors and patients who had been in contact with the doctor concerned have been placed in quarantine.

A spokesman from Hadassah stated: "The doctor felt ill and was tested for coronavirus. Two tests came back negative. Hadassah hospital stresses that an extensive investigation has concluded that there was no risk of contagion."
