Tax Authority Director Eran Yaakov announced this morning a two-month postponement in filing annual income tax returns. Postponing the deadline for submitting the reports is another step in those announced by the Authority this past week to help ease the public regarding the consequences of the coronavirus spread.
The postponement is intended to enable debtors to submit all relevant approvals for the the report and to prepare them for submission, given the restrictions imposed on the public and the economy as part of the fight against the virus.
Here are the new deadlines for submitting your reports:
The annual online income tax report for individuals must be submitted by Thursday, July 30, 2020.
The annual income tax report for companies and nonprofits must be submitted by Thursday, July 30, 2020.
The annual income tax report for individuals who are not liable for an online report must be filed by Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
