Health Ministry senior pandemic staff member Dr. Tal Brosh Nissimov was interviewed on Kan Bet and said the restrictions will continue until summer, hoping the warmer weather will do its job.

"What matters is not how many tests are performed. There is no purpose in examining, finding, and diagnosing all coronavirus patients in the State of Israel. The Health Ministry is conducting surveys, there are enough tests for this."

He said: "The fantasy that every person who gets up with a sore throat in the morning will be tested isn't feasible and isn't required. Whoever has coronavirus will sit at home and recover," he said.
