Extended shifts granted for factory workers

Minister of Labor Ofir Akunis has granted factory workers an extension of the hours permitted to work in a single shift from twelve to fourteen hours per shift. The Manufacturers Association of Israel blessed this development after having requested the extension of shift hours from the minister.
