Rav Eliezer Melamed from the Har Bracha community in Samaria has issued behavioral guidelines for coping with the corona crisis:

1. Praying in private individually is preferable to praying at the synagogue with a group

2. Those wishing to pray in a synagogue should do so with separation of two meters (six feet) between them. Each person should first clean his chair as well as any surfaces that will be touched during prayer.

3. No children should be brought to the synagogue

4. Anyone 60 years old or older should not attend synagogue and should not walk around outside it

5. Anyone who comes to pray and realizes he cannot comply with the safety measures should not go inside

6. People can pray outdoors in groups as long as there is a distance of two meters between them. The prayer service should be short without a Torah reading. No Torah should be taken outside of the synagogue.

7. Children should not be taken to a playground since they touch everything and there is a heightened danger of infection from this activity.
