(IsraelNN.com) The Nazareth District Court this morning sentenced Jean Elraz to life in prison plus 15 years for the murder of security officer Yitzchak Kvartach and the theft of over 60 automatic weapons.
On 15 March 2001, Elraz murdered the security officer of Kibbutz Manara. The body was dumped several kilometers from the kibbutz and was discovered a day later.
Working with seven Israeli Arabs, Elraz, a former army intelligence officer then used Kvartach’s keys, entered the community armory, and made off with the automatic weapons which were sold to terrorists within the PA.
