At the request of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Chairman Benny Gantz of the Blue and White received updates Tuesday morning on the actions being taken to deal with the spread of the coronavirus from National Security Advisor Meir Ben-Shabat and Health Ministry Director-General Moshe Bar Siman Tov.
Gantz told them that he is full of appreciation for their dedicated work and the work of government ministries, especially for the medical teams: doctors, nurses, Magen David Adom staff and anyone who takes part in saving lives. He added that, regardless of the political situation, Blue and White would support any proper course of action by the government and the Knesset, and that it would personally be available to them on this issue.
