Director-General Shai Babad of the Finance Ministry said, Thursday morning, that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is trying to balance health considerations with the needs of the economy as part of the fight against the coronavirus.
Interviewed by Galei Tzahal radio, Babad said, "There are two government offices here that are trying to fight for the interest they represent, and the prime minister has to strike a balance. There is economic significance to the shutdown that the Ministry of Health wants, and we will do everything to avoid it."
