Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon met on Monday with Palestinian Authority Finance Minister Shukri Bishara.
Kahlon said, "In addition to the current economic issues, we discussed mainly the coordination between Israel and the Palestinian Authority on the corona crisis." The PA's offical WAFA news agency said Bishara demanded the release of all revenues withheld by Israel since last year over payments to terrorists and their families, stressing "that the withheld revenues are a right for the Palestinian people and that they will help the Palestinian treasury adopt the best health measures to fight the coronavirus disease."
