The official value of the shekel dropped an average of 1.531 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.728, up 2.081 percent from Friday, while the Euro rose 2.111 percent to 4.1639 shekels, and the pound sterling was set at 4.5874 shekels, down .33 percent.
