Israel Railways announced on Wednesday evening that in recent days, the number of its inspectors in isolation due to coroanvirus has jumped to 27, which is about 10 percent of the total number of inspectors, and as such, there is a shortage of crews to operate passenger trains.

As a result, as of Thursday, trains will not operate between Be'er Sheva and Jerusalem. In addition, the night time trains Be'er Sheva and Tel Aviv will not operate as well.
