Tzofim, the largest scout movement in Israel that numbers 85,000 members, is ready to act if and when the Education Ministry and Health Ministry decide to close Israel's schools due to the coronavirus. Cali Cohen, general secretary of Tzofim, said that "this is a time of emergency for all Israel's citizens and especially for its children who could suddenly find their schools closed. The scout movement has the values of mutual responsibility and Zionism emblazoned on its flag. We are ready to activate hundreds of our members in response to any national emergency and thank local authorities throughout the country for their cooperation."
