Issta employees, Isair workers, and the National Workers' Union petitioned the Supreme Court for a provisional order requiring the government to formulate a compensation mechanism for employees in the aviation industry.

The National Union emphasized that "the State of Israel must take care of the continued employment of tens of thousands of workers and prevent a situation in which those workers are jettisoned from the labor market and become a burden on the public and the State - which will also bring about the collapse of the tourism, transport, and aviation industries themselves."
