The number of known coronavirus cases in the United States surpassed 1,000 on Tuesday, reported The New York Times.
As of Tuesday evening, at least 1,004 people in 37 states and Washington, D.C., have tested positive for coronavirus, according to a New York Times database. At least 31 patients with the virus have died.
