After the skies have been depleted of passengers coming to Israel because of the coronavirus, an alert concerning traffic from the sea has been issued by those working at the port of Ashdod. In a letter sent to Yaakov Litzman, Minister of Health, port workers have decried the sight of crews from foreign boats descending onto the Ashdod pier and milling around without authorization. Litzman was also informed by the port workers that Israelis have also been seen initiating unauthorized contact with the foreign crews.
