Balad chairman: Joint List should not recommend prime ministerial candidate

Chairman Mtanes Shihadeh of the Balad Party said on Tuesday that the party would advise the other factions on the Joint List of predominantly Arab parties not to recommend a prime ministerial candidate on Sunday, when it is scheduled to meet with President Reuven Rivlin on the formation of a government, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
