A 74-year-old coronavirus patient has been admitted in good condition to a dedicated ward at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
The department is in a separate isolation compound from the hospital and will be operated by dedicated staff members who will only deal with these patients, while strictly adhering to the isolation and protection procedures required by the Ministry of Health. The ward has a separate air conditioning system and will be operated by advanced digital means of communication, testing and management so as to allow minimal contact between staff and patients.
