Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced Monday that every Israeli returning from abroad in the next two weeks will have to enter 14-day isolation because of concerns over the coronavirus.

Following a series of discussions which also covered economic preparedness, and a scientific-technological discussion of the virus with expert participation, Netanyahu said, "This is a tough decision, but it is essential to maintain public health - and public health precedes everything.” He noted, "At the same time we are making decisions in order to maintain the Israeli economy."
