Public Security Minister of Internal Security Gilad Arden updated the government ministers on police preparations to enforce the isolation needed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Speaking at the dedication of a new fire and rescue station to serve northern Jerusalem, Erdan said, "In accordance with the aggravation of the situation, I will consider the need to declare a 'civil emergency' that will give the ministry's bodies wider powers."
