The Environmental Protection Ministry's Green Police recently raided 67 garages across the country and located 19 garages that did not comply with the law to prevent hazardous oils treatment.
The inspectors imposed 24 fines for a variety of Law on Hazard Prevention violations, including: poor tire storage, oil spillage, poor tire coverage, oil stored in a non-standard location, failure to place a pickup facility, missing signage, non-standard oil container use, and more.
The places where garages were found with anomalies: Tamra, Zarzir, Nof haGalil, Menashya Zebedeh Iksal, Afikim, Zemer, Kalanswa, Tira, Or Yehuda, Damash, Lod, and Beer Tuvia.
