Approximately 300 Elisha Hospital employees in Haifa were incorporated into the Histadrut, joining some 800,000 workers in the Israeli economy represented by the Histadrut.
More than half of the employees at the hospital signed the application forms, thus making the Histadrut the representative employee organization at the medical institution.
