China’s National Health Commission said there were 139 additional cases and 31 new deaths from the novel coronavirus as of Wednesday.
All of those fatalities occurred in Hubei province, the epicenter of the virus outbreak. To date, there have been a total of 80,409 confirmed cases in China.
