El Al's management announced a layoff of 1,000 employees is on its way. This in wake of the crisis in the company as a result of the coronavirus spread.
So far 200 employees who had been in the process of reception, including flight attendants and pilots, have already been notified they will not be absorbed into the company. Alongside the dismissal, El Al will cut the wages of workers who are in a collective bargaining agreement.
